Step 1

Where are you located?

We'll calculate the Nisab threshold in your local currency using your country's gold & silver prices.

How is Zakat Calculated?

Zakat is 2.5% of your net wealth above the Nisab threshold, payable once a lunar year (Hawl) has passed.

Why Does Nisab Vary by Country?

The Nisab equals 87.48g of gold or 612.36g of silver. Since prices are in local currencies, the Nisab amount differs. For example, the Nisab in Tunisia (TND) is very different from the USA (USD).

What Assets Are Zakatable?

Cash, gold, silver, stocks, business inventory, crypto, and money owed to you. Personal items (home, car, clothing) are not zakatable.
